It was a beautiful weekend for cruising the Vermont and New Hampshire highways with my friends. Our final destination - the New Hampshire Volkswagen Show and Swap to show off our rides.
There was a good crowd enjoying the overnight accommodations at the Litchfield Fairgrounds in Connecticut. The show the next day was a huge success - perfect weather and lots of great cars to see.
Since nobody seemed to mind (and since nobody used them) I've removed the message boards. No big deal - one less thing for me to keep track of while maintaining the site. :) I wanted to post new material of the 2004 Wasserwerks show last week but the weather was sketchy and my vacation time (and budget) this year is tight, so i ended up skipping it this year around. However, I'm told the turnout was still pretty good and you can find pictures of it at Wasserwerks' website. Next weekend is the 2004 Litchfield Bug-In in Connecticut. I highly recommend this show and will be heading down Saturday and camping out on the grounds. Hope to see some of you there - the rest of you can tune in for pictures in a couple weeks.
A typical cloudy Vermont day for the VW Show and Swap. Fortunately, the rains held off and attendance was high.
Some of my favorite events are unjudged. Not having to worry about how the car scores really loosens people up and leads to a good time for all.
