This site originally formed around The Water-Cooled Volkswagen Ring. As the site grew and more features were added, I realized that it had grown beyond the ring. It had formed an identity of it's own.

 

After some consideration, I decided to shift the focus of the main site from the ring to a "hub" of sorts with links to the variety of resources now available.

 

Since the Ring had used the acronym WCVW and my domain had been chosen to match, I came up with the name Water-Cooled Volkswagen World. Same acronym, but more diverse meaning.
